Graduate Library Privileges
As an honors student you'll be able to check out books from Davidson Library for approximately one quarter rather than the standard three weeks (journals and limited loan items remain on overnight checkout status, and Reserve Book Service materials also retain the same check out periods). Honors Students may also apply for book locker privileges.
To implement these privileges, take your UCSB ACCESS card with your current honors identification sticker to the Circulation Desk at the Davidson Library. To obtain book locker privileges, please e-mail Alfredo Martinez at amartinez@library.ucsb.edu with the following information:
- Name
- Perm #
- 3 floor preferences (lockers are on the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th floors)
Please indicate that you are a Letters and Science honors student.
Download an informational sheet (PDF) about the Graduate Library Privileges.
Priority Registration
Continuing students in the Honors Program receive priority registration for courses. This means honors students are in the first group of students to register for classes each quarter, regardless of their class level.
If you have questions about your registration pass times, please contact honorsmail@ltsc.ucsb.edu.
