Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities Offers Enrichment Opportunities for UCSB Students

The College of Letters and Science Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (URCA) Office provides the following programs and activities for undergraduates:

  • Faculty Research Assistance Program (FRAP)
  • Grants for Undergraduate Research and Creative Projects
  • Grant Proposal Workshops
  • UC Washington Center Program (UCDC)
  • UC Center in Sacramento Program (UCCS)
  • Campus Office for National Scholarships and Fellowships
  • Health Professions Advising and Resource Room
  • Annual Colloquium to Celebrate Undergraduate Research at UCSB

Office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Located in North Hall 2110 is the Health Professions and UCDC Resource Room. Peer advisors staff this room. Please stop by to meet the 2005-06 peer advisors, Erin Fuchs and Emily Harbet (Health Professions), and Samantha Morgan (UCDC). They are ready to answer your UCDC and health professions questions.
