Tylenol Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements: Students who are pursuing a career in the healthcare field.

The Marc McGinnes Environmental Law and Advocacy Scholarship
Established May 2005 to honor J. Marc McGinnes upon his retirement after 33 years of service to the UCSB Environmental Studies Program, this award of at least $500 will be given annually to a deserving ES senior in recognition of: outstanding academic achievement in the Environmental Studies major in general and in environmental law courses in particular, outstanding environmental service and leadership as an undergraduate student, and outstanding promise of future achievement in environmental law and/or environmental leadership.
This award is chosen by the ES Program's faculty awards committee each spring. If a student wished to nominate someone or themselves, please send an email message, attn to: ES Scholarship Selection Committee, via emai to: esprogram@es.ucsb.edu

AICPA--Scholarships for Minority Accounting Students Program
This scholarship program provides awards of up to $5,000 to outstanding minority students to encourage their selection of accounting as a major and their ultimate entry into the profession. These awards are funded by the AICPA Foundation from monies contributed by the AICPA, its members, public accounting firms, and others. CA Association of Realtors--Scholarship Foundation
$2,000. The Foundation awards scholarships to students whose profession is centered on real estate in the following areas: brokerage, finance, management, development, appraisal, planning, and law, and other fields of study the Trustees are willing to consider. http://www.car.org/index.php?id=ODU=

Harry S. Truman Library Institute Undergraduate Student Grant Program
Applicants must be Engineering, Math, Computer Science or Material Science majors and must have an overall GPA of 3.0. Although graduate and undergraduate applicants will use the same application form, each group will be evaluated separately. Knowles Science Teaching Foundation Fellowships
KSTF Teaching Fellows are young men and women who have received a bachelor's or advanced degree in science, engineering or mathematics and are committed to teaching high school science and/or mathematics in U.S. schools. The fellowship supports them professionally and financially for up to five years through a teacher preparation program to eligibility for tenure. During the initial academic year of the fellowship, fellows typically participate in a recognized teacher credentialing program. After receiving a teaching credential and beginning a career in teaching, fellows continue to receive training and support. Deadline: June 30th http://www.kstf.org/

Korean American Scholarship
$1,000-$3,000. Only the students currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program are eligible to apply. Applicants are judged on the basis of financial need, academic achievement, extra curricular activities and community service. The UCSB Emeriti Association announces the Sixth Annual Undergraduate Competition to Recognize Outstanding Scholarship by our Students. Students at the junior and senior level are invited to submit a current or recent scholarly project on any subject in: visual and performing arts, humanities, social sciences, the sciences, and engineering.


The Winston Churchill Scholarship
Established in 1959 at the recommendation of Winston Churchill himself, the Winston Churchill Foundation offers America students of exceptional ability and outstanding achievement the opportunity to pursue one year of graduate studies in engineering, mathematics, or the sciences at Churchill College, the University of Cambridge. The Foundations offers twelve Churchill Scholarships each year. The scholarship covers all University and College tuition and fees.  In addition, students receive a living allowance and a travel allowance of up to $1,000. Marshall Scholarship
This program offers intellectually distinguished young Americans a chance to study in the United Kingdom, while being introduced to the British way of life and British social and academic values. Up to forty scholarships will be awarded which are tenable at any British University and cover two years of study in any discipline, at either undergraduate or graduate level. George J. Mitchell Scholarships
Scholarships are for graduate-level studies at participating institutions of higher learning in Ireland. The participating universities contribute the cost of tuition and room. In addition, each Scholar will receive a stipend of $11,000 for other expenses. The campus application guidelines may be found at: www.ltsc.ucsb.edu/urca/scholarships_and_awards.php. Rhodes Scholarship
One of the most prestigious awards, funds two or three years of post-bachelor study at Oxford University in Great Britain. The award covers educational and living expenses. Initiated after the death of Cecil Rhodes in 1902, the scholarships bring outstanding students from nineteen countries and five continents to Oxford University. Rhodes Scholars may pursue either a second bachelor's degree or a higher degree. Selectors look for outstanding intellectual and academic achievement (typically a minimum 3.9 GPA). The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans
Given to provide opportunities for continuing generations of able and accomplished New Americans to achieve leadership in their chosen fields. The fellowships are grants for up to two years of graduate study in the United States. The recipients are chosen on a national competitive basis. Thirty fellowships will be awarded each year.
