Applications are available in Cheadle 1117 and are due Friday, February 4, at 4:00 p.m. Informational meetings for students interested in being a student honors coordinator or a Letters and Science peer advisor will be held: • Wednesday, January 12, 3 p.m. in UCen State Street Room • Thursday, January 13, 3 p.m. in UCen State Street Room Apply for Orientation Staff — Make a Difference!Orientation Staff members work April through August to serve as the first point of personal contact for most of the new students who will enter UCSB next fall. Job duties include academic advising and assistance with course registration and introducing parents of new students to UCSB. Develop professional skills in leadership, public speaking, program organization, academic advising, public relations, teamwork and issue awareness. April 11: Deadline for application materials, including a statement of purpose explaining why you want to be a commencement speaker. Return applications to the college office, Cheadle 1117.
